Tony Dyson Creator of Star Wars Found Dead In Malta

Tony Dyson was a famous British SPFX designer who is very well known for creating and designing R2-D2 model of robot used in Star War movies. Tony Dyson was found dead in Malta a couple of days ago after his body were found at his home in Triq Zirzieb, Munxar, Gozo.  He died at the age of 68 and was discovered deal after his friends and family members reported him being missing and absent from work and family gatherings. He recently took part in the Malta Comic Convention where he fascinated everyone with his catching laughs and knowledge.

The body of Tony Dyson was found in Malta after his neighbors upturned the alert on Thursday after perceiving that the front entrance of the 68-year-old's apartment in Triq Zirzieb is always open. According to the police they are investigating the death case of Tony Dyson but they are not sure about the results as the foul play had been ruled out from the inquiry. Tony Dyson has also worked in a number of other Hollywood movies as well such as Moonraker and Superman 2. The robot he created for Star Wars R2-D2 became one of the most favorite characters of the series, making him have more and more of his strength since the initial days of the movie.

Other than movies, he also designed and constructed robots for some of the principal electronic corporations in the world, including Sony, Philips and Toshiba. He has received many honors and awards for his work in the movies, cultural and ecumenical activities like nomination for an Emmy Award for a Sony commercial featuring a John Cleese look-alike robot and winner of the honorary title of Honorary Professor MBA in multimedia for the Stichting Euregio University in the Netherlands.
