Who to Host Emmys In 2016

Emmys
Emmy awards are loved and appreciated by almost everyone in the world and it is great honor for celebrities if they get to host this enormous and lavish event. Last year, Andy Samberg hosted 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards after which everyone has eyes over the next one to get this responsibility. According to different news and reports, Jimmy Kimmel will officially be hosting Emmy awards this year. Jimmy Kimmel officially announced it on his Twitter account when he posted “I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday, Sept 18. Until then, have a great summer.”

This news has increased the anxiety and anticipation of Emmy lovers. This year’s Emmy awards will be a second for Jimmy Kimmel as he has already hosted one back in 2012. According to the president of ABC entertainment, Jimmy Kimmel is the consummate showman and with him being as a host in the ceremony, people are going to be at the edge of their seat for a bigger, bolder, and better than ever Emmy event. Not to mention that Jimmy Kimmel Live is one of the longest running shows of ABC entertainment and it is due to this show that the fame and success of this channel is in its current spot.

The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on ABC on September 1 while the nominations for the ceremony will be announced later this year according to the latest releases. Meanwhile, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, executive produced by Bob Bain, will take place over two nights, Sept. 10 and 11, the Television Academy also announced far ahead. Kimmel has also hosted the ESPY Awards, the American Music Awards and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner so hosting Emmy’s will not be a big issue for him.
